Do you have a project that you have a passion for? Antiques
Tell us about it!
I like to collect antiques and love most anything from the past with history to it. I have more than I need and no place else to put them. I have collected antiques for a long long time and I am still collecting.
Tell me something that your former classmates probably donít know about you! (
I am the oldest of 15 children and some of my hobbies are reading, spending time with my grandchildren, and traveling as much as I can. I love spending time with my family, my mother, and friends. Sometimes I just like to spend time alone with my thoughts.
Any special memories you have of any of your classmates who have passed away? Tell us about them! Can be funny or sad or whatever youíd like to share.
Janette Martin - I used to spend a lot of time at her home. I got to know her mother and family well and she was a great person inside and out.
Dorothy Dodson - Dorothy, Alice Trevathan, and I spent lots of times together. We would spend time talking and going to each other homes. Dorothy was a quit person but one the kindest people I have ever known.
David (Bear) Woods - He was always a lot a fun to be around and there was never a boring moment around him.
Any special memories of some of those of us who are still plugging away? Tell us about them! Can be funny or sad or whatever youíd like to share.
Jackie Elsey - She was the type of person who always accepted you, no matter who you were. We had some great times together and we would stay all night with one another. She had a secret that she made me keep. She loved to eat aspirin and she made me promise not to tell her mother. One time we went to see the movie the Ten Commandments and she was crying and kept begging me to help the people and to do something for them that were on the movie.
Any special memory of a teacher? Can be good or bad! (No foul language will be printed online.)
Mrs. Frances Coil - Most students didnít like her but she stood out in my memory.
Mrs. Annette Mix - She was always so good to help me no matter what I had to do. She tried to help me make a dress but no matter what she did I just couldnít get it right. ( bless her heart)
